The Australian art community is in shock after renowned sculptor Dion Horstmans was found dead at his Bondi home.
The 57-year-old artist, known for his stunning geometric designs, passed away on Saturday afternoon, leaving his family and friends devastated.
A Life of Creativity and Art
Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Horstmans spent 15 years working in the film industry, crafting props and models before pursuing his passion for art full-time.
His unique style, which often featured bold, multidimensional sculptures in fluorescent colors, earned him a reputation in Australia’s contemporary art scene.
Since 2006, his works have been showcased in an impressive 24 exhibitions.
