Australia is saying goodbye to a well-loved businessman, Greg Josephson, who was allegedly murdered at his own house party in Clayfield, Queensland.
Hundreds of mourners, including his devastated family, gathered at St Agatha’s Catholic Church in Clayfield to pay their respects to the 58-year-old co-founder of fashion chain Universal Store.
A Moving Service for a Dedicated Father and Husband
Presiding over the service was Father Anthony Mellor, who remembered Greg as a dedicated father, husband, and entrepreneur.
Greg’s wife, Tamra, and their children were among those who remembered his life, with Mrs. Josephson speaking with deep affection and sorrow.

“He was the most gentle, soft, kind-hearted, generous, calm, positive, happy, intelligent man I had ever met,” she said.
A Life of Love and Family
Greg’s children shared memories of birthdays, holidays, and ordinary days filled with love.
“We have so many amazing memories of special times spent with him: birthdays, holidays, Christmases, and just being together. Dad taught us that family is very important,” his daughter said.
His son simply said, “He was loved so much by us all”, and “he’s now in heaven.”
A Celebration of Life and Legacy
The service was a celebration of Greg’s life and legacy, with readings, psalms, and prayers.
As the service came to a close, the casket was carried out by six pallbearers – Greg’s four brothers, Michael, Andrew, Martin, and John, along with family friends Jonathan Breene and Derek Nicholson.
