Robert Irwin’s Triumphant Return to Australia: From Dancing Champ to Beachside Bliss!
- Wildlife warrior Robert Irwin makes a splashy return to Australia after winning Dancing with the Stars
- The 22-year-old TV star lets loose and gets down to his undies for a beachside romp
- Robert’s Instagram video shows him rolling down a massive sand dune and taking a dip in the ocean
In a heartwarming homecoming, Robert Irwin has shared a thrilling video of himself embracing the great outdoors in his native Australia. The newly-crowned Dancing with the Stars champion is seen barrelling down a massive sand dune, leaving a trail of footprints in the sand.
“I’ve been looking at these sand dunes thinking someone better run down those,” Robert exclaimed, before taking off running up the steep dune. The wildlife conservationist’s excitement was palpable as he reached the top and jumped around, flipping down the dune in his iconic Australia Zoo khakis.
But the fun didn’t stop there! Robert then drove to the beach, where he ripped off his shirt and shorts and took a refreshing dip in the ocean. “When life gives you the chance to roll down the sand dune, and jump into the ocean… take it. I love where I live,” he gushed in his caption.
Robert’s carefree video is a far cry from his recent stint on Dancing with the Stars, where he suffered a scary injury while rehearsing one of his finale routines. However, the young star appeared to have healed up nicely, delivering multiple flawless routines with his pro partner Witney Carson and securing the overall victory.
As Robert prepares to reunite with Witney on the DWTS Tour next month, he’s clearly savouring every moment of his Australian homecoming. And who can blame him? With his stunning beaches, sun-kissed landscapes, and wildlife wonderlands, it’s little wonder Robert is thrilled to be back on home soil.
Robert’s sister, Bindi Irwin, was a constant source of support throughout his DWTS journey, and it’s clear that the Irwin family’s love of wildlife and the great outdoors is still going strong. As Robert continues his father Steve’s legacy, it’s clear that the Crocodile Hunter’s spirit lives on in his son.
